SGC awarded GOLD Medal at International Convention

The Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, established in the 1970s, is recognized as one of the world’s longest-running and largest invention exhibitions. This year’s event saw a record number of participants, including inventors, universities, institutions, and companies. The exhibition showcased nearly 1,000 inventions from approximately 40 countries and regions.

SGC had the honor of showcasing its latest innovation at the renowned global invention exhibition, led by Professor Karl WK TSIM from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Their featured product, “Cosmotech Soothing & Repairing Powder,” represents a groundbreaking advancement derived from SGC’s patented technology. This product has surpassed the gold standards of Europe and America in terms of clinical efficacy, boasting exceptional repairing efficiency. Its outstanding safety profile, validated through rigorous international safety assessments, played a pivotal role in securing the prestigious gold medal. With its unparalleled attributes, it now stands as a unique offering in the current market landscape.

This groundbreaking invention, led by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and funded by the Hong Kong Government, harnesses SGC’s cutting-edge biotechnological protein purification technology. The resultant protective layer achieves remarkable skin tightening, lifting and elasticity while effectively balancing skin proteins. Notably, the product boasts an impeccable safety profile, being entirely devoid of medicinal ingredients, preservatives, fragrances, and colorants, thereby eliminating any geographical or racial restrictions on its usage. Its versatile applications include:

  • 1.Mitigating the side effects of medical aesthetic procedures, laser treatments, or plastic surgeries, such as redness, swelling, itchiness, pain and dehydration.
  • 2.Suitability for steroid-induced skin, eczema, and sensitive skin; the firming, repairing, and regenerating effects of this diminutive 0.1g bottle are equivalent to ten pieces of top-grade serums.
  • 3.Serving as an indispensable first-aid remedy for burns, scalds and cuts, rapidly repairing the skin, alleviating pain and preventing scar formation. The transparent layer ensures easy monitoring of the healing process.
  • 4.Demonstrating efficacy in the repair of severe and chronic wounds, embodying the concept of “Complete Healing,” whereby full recovery of tendons, sensory functions, blood vessels and all skin tissues, including the endothelium, dermis and epidermis, is achieved. This surpasses conventional products that merely form scabs or cauterize the outer epidermis.

The “Cosmotech Soothing & Repairing Powder,” developed by SGC, has successfully navigated a series of stringent evaluations, comparisons, and screenings orchestrated by a panel of seasoned judges hailing from diverse European nations during the exhibition committee’s meticulous review process. Throughout the exhibition, SGC actively engaged in direct dialogues with the jury, fellow exhibitors and attendees, expounding on the product’s principles, application spectrum, safety profile and remarkable efficacy. Notably, the chair of the jury and other esteemed judges made multiple visits to the SGC booth, demonstrating keen interest in comprehensively understanding the innovative breakthroughs and exceptional performance of this product.

Upon learning of SGC’s “Cosmotech Soothing & Repairing Powder” winning the gold medal, Professor Tsim said, “We are immensely encouraged by the extensive acknowledgment of SGC’s biotechnology at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. This not only underscores our innovative strides in pioneering technology development but also highlights our robust scientific research capabilities. We remain steadfast in elevating the readiness of our scientific and technological research for commercialization and are eager to engage with industry partners at the earliest opportunity. Our commitment remains unwavering as we continue to push the boundaries of knowledge, aiming to foster well-being not only in Hong Kong but also in societies across the globe.

Products stemming from SGC’s patented technology are poised to progressively enter the market, aiming to tackle persistent challenges and discrepancies in the medical and anti-aging domains. These innovations are anticipated to introduce fresh solutions that augment existing treatment modalities and elevate overall standards of care.

SGC has achieved a milestone by securing a Swiss patent and publishing significant articles in Swiss medical journals. This success was further underscored when the company was awarded a gold medal at the prestigious Swiss invention exhibition. These accomplishments not only highlight SGC’s dedication to innovation and excellence but also significantly enhance its reputation and influence within the global scientific and medical communities. This recent accolade marks a dazzling chapter in SGC’s history, positioning the company as a leader in its field.
